Hello,
I'm enrolling in a PA RE licensing course and I am looking for advice or recommendations on good brokers in the Pittsburgh area to hang my license with. I plan to keep my full-time job while getting started so I would like to find a broker that has low fees and doesn't require the agent to work "full time." Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The better brokers in the area seem to end up with REMAX. I am not sure if he is looking for anyone but you might want to reach out to Alex Deacon. He is an investor, broker and property manager. the real key here is to use you agent tool box to make yourself an investor. That should be your highest target. That's my ultimate goal, to become an investor, which is why I don't particularly want just jump right in to RE full time and hang my license with a broker who expects me to put in those kinds of hours. I am trying to make it Tuesday, but I have another engagement before that though, so I'm hoping it will be over in time.

@Megan Hirlehey please PM me if you want to schedule a time to discuss. Your best strategy is what i did when I started 21 years ago. Worked full time and did RE part time. Then 4 years later i was able to secure a very good living full time as an agent and investor. As an agent you dont have to commit any time if you dont want to. If you dont commit time you wont make any money thats the downside LOL but there is no set schedule for agents. They more or less all work on commission.
