Washington State investment areas of focus?

Question

New to real estate investment and am gathering as much information and knowledge on the various processes. Living in an expensive market is looking difficult to begin so was wondering if anybody out there has insight on the best areas around Washington that offer future growth and development. I'm in the Kitsap County area looking at Single and multi family homes to rent currently and possibly looking at Eastern Washington. Thanks

Spokane is experiencing double digit % appreciation right now. All economic signals are pointing in the right direction too, more jobs, more business expansion, great schools AND low cost of living.

1) get pre approved with a lender and 2) get a relationship built with a local agent that knows the  area and has time for your plans ....

@Joey Walker Parts of Spokane are extremely hot right now for MF and still seem cheap compared to Western WA. Might be another market worth looking at.

That's good to hear! I see opportunities out here but need to sit and analyze as many deals to really get a grasp on the market. Anybody you'd recommend speak to (realtors, lenders, mentors) in the area that work with investors or just somebody to speak with to gain knowledge?

Bremerton  and Port orchard  seem be  be booming  with opportunities that are affordable  ( relatively speaking )
