Happy New Years to everyone in Austin, TX! What are your goals for real estate in 2022?

I would like to buy 2 more multi unit properties that need rehab at a minimum and put out 52 great podcasts.

Happy New Year to all Austin investors!
I’m looking to find, hire and train a team of people, likely overseas, to do a lot background research tasks for identifying target properties/leads for my biz, as well as a couple of US based folks to field the calls to homeowners.

@Jordan Moorhead I haven’t used VAs per se. In the past I hired a US based person to make calls on a temporary basis. Hired him on UpWork, paid hourly. It’s been a couple of years since, but I think I paid $20/hour or so. Just didn’t have enough for him to keep him around.

Where did you get your VA from? Is he US based, native English speaker?

@Alex G. we found him on phjobs.com. I pay him for 20 hours a week of cold calling to find off market deals for our clients. We just started with him about a month ago and have been getting some leads. It's not a done for you thing, you need systems and processes on the back end

I am looking to grow my book of business by bringing properties to investors that they can fix and flip or buy and hold to reach their ROI goals. The brokerage I work for regularly sells 40-50 off market properties each month and as a new investment consultant, it is my goal to sell at least 3 properties each month. I am thrilled to be a newly licensed agent at such a vibrant time for the Austin housing market. It is a thrill to look throughout these forums and see the advice each of you regularly post so thank you for that.
