Three Types of Alternative Investments
Kim Butler helps professionals leverage three types of alternative investments including an alternative to cash, an alternative to income, and alternatives to growth. She looks at every facet of her clients’ finances to build a strategy that maximizes the efficiency of their dollar and keeps the money in constant motion.
Real estate is a great example because, with one property, your money starts working for you in a handful of different ways. But no matter where you put your money, the end game is to invest honorably and ethically. Kim lives by that standard day-in and day-out.
Traditional, Not Typical
Kim takes a traditional approach to investing founded in practices that have been generating wealth for decades. But there are plenty of alternatives within that space. One of the primary areas in which Kim operates is called life settlements. It is rooted in a 1913 tax law that allows you to sell a life insurance policy for a life settlement, which is an asset. Another form of alternative investment is intangible drilling cost-deductions. This strategy enables you to invest in multiple oil wells that generate a return while simultaneously providing significant opportunities for tax deductions.
