Over a month has gone by

So it's been over a month now and I have done many things in the meantime that I simply did not write about.  I have written to other potential sellers, called a few out of the blue.  So far nothing of import really. 

Anyway, I hounded the partner every couple of weeks.  He started work with his lawyer to start the ball rolling, but that took two weeks.  I have found that nothing really is as fast as many people make it out to be - except maybe getting something under contract with a P&L.

After my last two texts he replied "I owe you a phone call. I will be back in town in two days." I knew something was amuck when he couldn't call me because he was out of town :)

You can guess it - he just called about ten minutes ago and said "Sorry I have been putting you off. It was because I a had a potential buyer in the wings and he was putting me off. He is buying the property."

So there you have it - my first rejection after getting this far.  I am getting further each time.  I love it.  So that's it for now.  I will update you on the potential purchases as I hound the homeowners ;)
