Intro

Hi! I'm Nicole, a 26-year-old investor living in the Cleveland, OH area. Life seems to be forcing me into REI, and I have no complaints. After graduating college, I took the first job offered to me with a REIT where I am currently a property accountant.

After getting my job, I realized my student loans were going to make it nearly impossible to afford living alone. My dad encouraged me to buy instead of renting. If I was going to find a roommate to help me pay rent, why not let them pay my mortgage instead of someone else's? I bought a house in May of 2016, closed in June, moved out of my 700 sq. ft. apartment in July, and had both of my spare bedrooms rented out by August 1st; I haven't had a day of vacancy yet.

Now that someone's paying my mortgage, I'd like to find someone to pay all of my other bills for me, too!  Not only do I enjoy being a landlord, I've proven I'm good at it, and I know this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

My dad recently flipped a house in the Youngstown, OH area. We've added my name on the title, and after 6 months, I'll be able to take out a HELOC to pay my father for the house. I'm VERY excited to embark on my first endeavor with a pure investment property and will keep you all posted on my progress and hiccups!
