Howdy Ya'll,

A little about me...

I was born in Texas, spent my childhood in England (unusual for a military brat to stay in one place for 12 years), graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Computer Science (the best liberal arts degree known to man!), was commissioned in the Air Force in Jan 1998, and retired in 2018.  I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do when i "grow up."

I purchased my first house in Ohio in 2004.  As a first time home buyer I'm sure I made quite a few mistakes.  When I moved, I scrambled to find a property management company (another mistake) , bought another house in Nevada (at almost the height of the boom) in 2008, made more mistakes in property management, bought my third house in Nebraska in 2012 (finally did a better job picking my property management that time), and bought my fourth house in Virginia (the vote is still out on my property management decision).   I now live in Chattanooga, and about to pull the trigger on an LLC holding company strategy on 5 properties.

My intent is to "tell my story" in more detailed installments as I have time... hopefully people can learn from my mistakes.
