Initial Interest Takes Shape

I first became interested in Real Estate after reading "The Weekend Millionaire" by Mike Summey and Roger Dawson. A Few years later I was talking to a co-worker and found out he owned a rental and was planing on acquiring more. He also told me about BP and the book called Rich Dad Poor Dad.

After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad I couldn't get enough real estate information. I started listening to as many BP pod casts as time allowed and bought some more books form BP.

I then joined my local REIA and started meeting other investors. I met a wholesaler at the REIA and got on his mailing list and that is how I was pointed to my first lead.

At the same time as the REIA meet ups, I was driving for dollars and compiling a list of address. Got on qpublic.net and pulled the address up to get the owners name and mailing address.

I bought 2500 post cards from Costco business printing at 5.1 cents per card, that I designed myself. I got ideas from yellowletters.com and other sights like it.

On Jan 28 2019 I received my first attempt at mailers.
