Day 1 - About this Blog

The Bigger Pockets Community has been generous with time and advice, and now I find myself in a situation where I can give back to the community.

I've been a passive income investor in apartment syndications for over a year now, but recently I've taken on a more active role. The team has asked me to help raise $200K of private equity to participate in a 122 unit apartment complex deal. The catch is that it closes in 3 weeks.

This is my first time attempting to raise private capital, so I haven't built out my network to the extent that many investors have.

This is an exciting challenge and also an opportunity to give back to the bigger pocket community by journaling on how to raise $200k in one month without a pre-existing investor network.

Whether I succeed or fail in raising the funds, I hope that this blog will give other people ideas on how to expand their investment circle and achieved their real estate dreams.
