you live and learn

hello. do I have something to tell you all today. First I want to tell all you nebbies because I am sure that the seasoned investors are well aware of this, don't trust anyone in business.

so like I was telling you yesterday my mentor is a joke. the deal that I am working on was closed. YEAH!!! but it wasn't by me. AWWW. i called the lady and she said it was sold. I was disappointed but I wasn't torn. there is always antoher deal. I called my "mentor" up just to let him know. but I am sure he knew, in fact it was probably him who closed.  guess what, no surprise he did not answer the phone. ok something is really fishy here I smell it and it stinks.. fu!

i decided to see what type of guy this really was. I teted him that the place was sold. and added that i had another property that my friend was selling. i told him he had just gotten divorced and was selling this place at 70% below value. I continued to say that I also found an agent to work with who had access to mls and could give me leads. you know what he fll for it. none of it was true but I had to check this guy  out for what he truly was.

I recevied a phone call right after I sent this text and considering that he had not returned any of my call before in fact it would ring and then go straight to voice mail which meant he was turning his phone off or putting me to ignore. i did not answer. he called me twice more and left me a bunch of text. one said call me again. the other said i have a buyeer for that house. really you have a buyer? how? he doesn't know anything except that the house is 70% under market value. funny. he left a voicemail stating that he was sorry he wasn't returning my phone calls he got a job and was busy. complete bull. this guy was using me and you know what I am not going to get mad I am going to get even.

so I tell you don't trust anyone in business and if you are going to trust people be very careful. remember if you can not get in touch with your business partner that they are not a partner they are only a ball and chain. cut them loose because partners communicate and follow up. And don't be afraid to stand up for yourself being shy and unsure does not fly in the world of business. if you get screwed go back and screw that person this will tell them that will ensure that you are not someones fool.

So i leave you with those words from the nebbie wholesaler (already learning lessons) I must go and think of of way to get this guy for wasting my time and trying to take me for a fool.

  1. Sorry to hear of your struggles with this Yusuf. You do seem to have a "get it done" attitude. It will carry you far. Good luck.
