Events in Duluth for the 4th! - Travis Senenfelder

 Heading up to Duluth for the 4th of July?! Awesome, because they have some great events lined up to all to enjoy! Check them out below, and click on the links for more information on each of the events:

  • Duluth Fourth Fest 2012 - "Visit Bayfront Festival Park during the Independence Day Celebration! Duluthians and visitors alike will enjoy this FREEcommunity celebration.

    Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and music will begin at 5:00 p.m. and play until 10:00 p.m. Music by: Big Wave Dave and the Ripples; Lake City Smokin Section and Martin Zeller – Tribute to Neil Diamond.
    The Mighty Thomas Carnival will be open for rides, games and family fun!

    Visit Duluth presents Minnesota’s largest fireworks extravaganza! The aerial display begins at 10:10 p.m. and will be fully synchronized to a musical program broadcast on NU92 FM (92.1)

    Set sail and watch Duluth's fireworks from a premiere location on the water. The Vista Fleet will be offering two cruises: the Star Spangled Dinner & Fireworks Cruise or the Vista Queen's Elegant 4th of July Cruise."

  • 2nd Annual arty in the Park with Hairball - "Hairball, the number one 80s Rock-N-Roll Experience Extravaganza, will perform a concert in Duluth at Bayfront Festival Park on Tuesday, July 3.

    Hairball recreates the good-time party atmosphere of that decadent decade with complete authenticity, including fabulous costumes, makeup, a tour de force sound and light show complete with pyrotechnics, and superbly accurate musical performances that may set off flashbacks! Hairball’s stunning recreations include KISS, Guns n Roses, Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Ozzy, AC/DC, Poison and more! Hairball will be joined by several special guests to be announced."
