Do THIS before you do anything else!

I just published this article (and video!). It applies just as much to investors as retail home buyers and sellers.

If you are even THINKING of buying or selling a home (or both), you need to put your phone numbers on the Federal and State Do Not Call lists immediately.

It’s really easy, totally free, and will save your sanity.

Florida Do Not Call: FLDNC.com

Federal Do Not Call: DoNotCall.gov

Make sure you register EVERY phone number in your family.

Parents, kids, dog, whatever.

If they have a phone number, put it on these TODAY!

Why?

Because every time a real estate transaction is recorded with the County or State, it updates their database, which is, of course, public record. 

And there are marketing companies scrubbing these databases for a variety of reasons, but primarily to sell your information to other companies to pitch products and services to you.

They are required to cross-scrub those lists with the Do Not Call (DNC) lists.

As are the same number-farms that feed the Real Estate Agent lists.

If you've ever had a listing "Expire" and your phone immediately becomes a constantly-ringing brick, you'll know what I'm talking about.

So, you can easily avoid the vast majority of these calls by adding your numbers to the DNC lists.

But there's a catch - it takes 32 days to update the DNC lists.

Do it now, and never worry about it again! Well, after Day 32, of course. 

Oh, and if it's well-after Day 32 (like Day 60) and you get a telemarketing / solicitation call? 

You can (and SHOULD) report that number to those same sites. 

Those calls are illegal, and subject to HUGE fines!

And lastly, even if you don't report them, make a vow to never do business with those companies. 

DO NOT REWARD BAD BEHAVIOR!
