Why I'm starting a blog!

Hello BiggerPockets members! I wanted to introduce myself and explain why I'm taking the time to write a blog. 

In the last several years I've spent an enormous amount of time reading books, articles, and listening to Podcasts by successful/seasoned investors and I've always thought it would be useful if one of them had detailed their progression along the way from the very beginning. 

Most of the time we hear/read about their businesses once they're already extremely successful with limited details from their early days. 

I'm several years into my investing career and in the last 6 months have gotten to know a group of very successful investors/builders who I'm now working with and my business is beginning to progress much quicker! 

I'll go into more detail in future blogs but to give a bit of background I own two residential rental properties (looking to acquire one more by year's end) and handle land acquisitions/marketing for several builders. My long-term goal is simple; use my income from my business to acquire rentals I can hold/pay off to create passive income. 

In summary, I'm hoping this blog will help investors who are just starting and haven't taken any action yet. When I was brand new, I would have liked to hear from investors who were a couple years into their career but hadn't taken off yet, as most investors who have any sort of platform are advanced. 

I'll be posting about my progress about once a week and hope that I can provide value to the BP Community!
