Holiday Decorating in the Twin Cities

The next three biggest holidays of the year are fast approaching, which means it's time to begin thinking about your holiday decorations.  In the Twin Cities, you can get some really great, inspirational ideas from the historic Bachman's Holiday Ideas House.  The house will be all dressed up for a festive season.

You will find that each room is decorated in a different theme, such as a winter theme of birch and other natural elements on the front porch, a formal traditional dining theme complete with poinsettia and silver dinnerware, a living room ready for a New Year's Eve party, a hockey-themed bedroom, and a Christmas cookie making vignette in the kitchen.

You can visit the Bachman's Holiday Ideas House now through December 5th to help get some ideas for decorating your own Twin Cities home.  Tickets will be $5, with 20% of the proceeds going to benefit the Children's Home Society and Family Service.  The historic Bachman's house is located at 5963 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis.  You can purchase tickets by calling (621) 861-7311 or by visiting their website at www.Bachmans.com.
