Using Real Estate Investing to Get Rick Quick

I hear it all the time.

Real estate investing is a way to get rich quick.

So first, let's look at the statement "get rich quick".

What does "get rich" mean?

For some people, it means millions and millions of dollars.

For others, it could mean financial independence.

And for others, it might just mean being able to quit their job.

Next, let's look at the word "quick".

For some people that might mean 1 to 2 months.

For others, it could mean 1 year.

And still, for others, it could mean 2 years or even longer.

So "rich" is a relative term and "quick" is a relative time frame.

So real estate investing might be a get rich quick endeavour for YOU if what you are looking for is being able to leave your job in 1 year and becoming fianancially independent in 2 to 3 years. There are certainly strategies available to you if that's what your goal is.

Others are just as happy to buy a property here and there and build up wealth over 10 years or more. And that's OK too. Whatever works for you.

So, is real estate investing a get rich quick endeavor?

It's up to you to decide.
