Finding the bottom in real estate through Vulture Funds

The US real estate market continues to wreck havoc on the economy.

As government leaders and industry experts attempt to find solutions, buyers are continuing to either avoid or are unable to buy and sell, given the current economic conditions. Finding our way out of the real estate crisis will not occur easily or happen overnight.

This will occur when buyers once again believe that real estate is a solid long term investment as it has been viewed for so many decades.

As prices begin to once again match the economics of local, regional and national requirements, we will begin to see a gradual return to a stable real estate market. Part of that solution will be through the investment (on a larger scale) of Vulture Funds and Private Equity Groups who enter back into areas where investment objectives become more attractive.

As investors find opportunities and local markets stabilize, others will begin to see trends that will turn the tide of a given market. The reversal of losses will be long and painful for many, but like every cycle, it will come.

Eventually the correction will occur and our friend the Vulture will be a key player in this  transition

  1. I am starting a vulture fund with 8 other partners right now for exactly this reason. Solid post!
