Personal Podcast Notes (72) Uncle Sam Pays the Rent with Mark Ainley

My personal notes.

BP Podcast 072: Managing Hundreds of Tenants and Getting Uncle Sam to Pay the Rent with Mark Ainley

* You can put “section 8 welcome” in your advertising, but don’t say “section 8 only”.

socialserve.com is a nonprofit organization with section 8 rental listings.

Section 8 tenants can be great long term tenants and government rent payments are completely reliable.

Landlords do have some leverage with your section 8 tenants because they want to maintain their vouchers which can be passed down to their children. If they cause problems, they know that you can contact the section 8 program and they can potentially lose their section 8 voucher.
