Jay attended his first real estate club meeting in 1998.  With a burning desire for change in his life, Jay bought his first investment property in 2001; he used his life savings of $5,000 as a down payment. At the top of the market, from 2005 to 2006, Jay closed 11 escrows in 10 months, selling off the majority of his California portfolio. He served as the Director of Due Diligence for the Los Angeles Real Estate Investors Club in 2006-2007. By 2008, Jay had moved his family to San Diego and realized it was time to buy in California again.  He became active with local real estate clubs by volunteering. In 2009, he was appointed to serve as Treasurer for the North San Diego Real Estate Investor's Club and still holds that position today.  Currently living in his wife
