Finding Harp 2.0 Leads Using Soft Credit Data

HARP 2.0 Leads that focus on Pre-Qualification

With the new guidelines for the revamped Home Affordable Refinance Act rolled out, many Clients have inquired about HARP 2.0 leads that can be identified through our soft credit data.

Under the prior program, many homeowners that would otherwise be motivated to refinance were unable to qualify because of the LTV requirements. With this limitation virtually removed, there are a large number of underwater homeowners that become eligible for the program.

When searching for HARP 2.0 Leads, we'll drill down on the following criteria:

  1. An unscathed mortgage payment history (current in the past 12 months)
  2. Fannie and Freddie loans.
  3. Origination dates on or before June 1, 2009
  4. FICO scores that conform to your lenders' guidelines
We've heard a lot of feedback from loan officers that when working HARP leads, a lot of valuable time and marketing dollars have been squandered in applications that were impossible to get funded because the homeowner was not qualified. Our focus is on pre-qualification so that you get in front of homeowners that are most likely to get through the underwriting process.
Many companies are taking to the Internet to find HARP leads, with costs hovering at $10 or more per lead at times. A lot of money can be spent getting in front of a homeowner that isn't eligible for the program, or clicked on a website because they were unable to get a loan through other channels.
Our pre-screened consumer credit database is plugged into all three leading credit reporting agencies, which allows you to take a sniper's approach in targeting homeowners that meet the exact criteria of HARP 2.0.
