The "increase in cancellations" myth

While 2022 is not quite as robust as the unicorn year that was 2021, it is still shaping up to be a very good year.  There is speculation swirling that lots of reservations are getting cancelled this year with inflation, an impending recession, etc.  We are finding this not to be true.  In fact, we are finding that the cancellation rates are below last year.

Looking at our April, May, and June cancellations from 2021 versus 2022:

April 2021:  46

April 2022:  29

May 2021:  41

May 2022:  26

June 2021:  37

June 2022:  21 (through the 27th)
