Are you paying Your Accountant too much?

I have lots of colleagues who run their own business and after discussing the topic of "Accountancy fees" with a lot of them, it came to my attention that many of us are paying either very low fees with little or no added value and even less business & tax advice.However some are also paying ridiculously high fees but still only manage to get a below average service and typically sees them only once a year if they are lucky.
