It's More Important Than Ever to Work With a Real Estate Professional

Based on the complexities of today’s real estate markets, including tough price negotiations in a down economy, foreclosures, tax deductions, first-time homebuyer credits, (should we continue); it’s more important than ever to work with a trusted real estate professional. Buyers and sellers need to rely on an expert to help them navigate complex scenarios who is also knowledgeable about the community where they are buying or selling.

MRIS, a leading developer of real estate information technology, recently published a landmark study examining the home buying and selling preferences of consumers in the Mid-Atlantic region. 95% reported that working with a real estate professional is just as important, if not more important, than it was just a few years ago.

Although the study was conducted outside of Northwest Houston, we believe these same consumer values are important throughout the Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita and Lake Houston areas. Factors such as trustworthiness, experience, willingness to look out for a client’s best interest, expertise in negotiating contracts, responsiveness, familiarity with contracts and knowledge of the local community were noted specifically in the study. While the Internet can help you gather information, search for homes, neighborhood information and more, there is nothing more valuable than industry knowledge, expertise and guidance from a trusted real estate professional.
