Real Estate Coach Needed!!

Hello BP!  I am a newbie investor that has big plans on building a real estate empire.  After reading many books and forum, almost all of them have an underlying comparison, they all preach on having a good mentor.  That being said, I am looking for a real estate coach.  I need someone that will not only show me how the pros get it done, but teaches me.  I want someone that is experienced in the field and genuiely wants to help me out.  Does anyone know in good real estate coaches????  I would preferably would like one locally (New Orleans), but it's not an essential.

  1. Andre - I am not a coach and have never hired one, but I did find some great mentors through the years at local REIA's. I have however worked with students of Fortune Builders and helped them with their long term buy & hold strategies. They are not in New Orleans and they will be the first to tell you that they are not right for every investor, but I can say that they are good people and honest. I would consider what Charles said about finding a local REIA and then investigate Fortune Builders and maybe some other coaching groups on line. Joshua's advice about zeroing in on your strategy is really important before you hire anyone or buy any courses. Good luck and feel free to lean on me with any questions as you get started. I'm up in Memphis and was in your shoes about 8 years ago.

  2. I would check out some of the local REI groups. It is often best to find someone local that knows your market.

  3. I am interested in the New Orleans area. I initially would like to invest in wholesaling/rehabbers/lease-to-option and convert that captial to passive income by purchasing multi-family's. I would like to have a coach that has a millionaire mindset

  4. What area of investment are you interested in? What is your strategy? A coach who can kill it with buy and hold may not be the guy for you if you want to rehab.
