Leesburg Easter Egg Hunt
It's almost that time of year, folks! The 19th Annual Leesburg Easter Egg Hunt will take place the day before Easter, on Saturday, April 9th, at the Ida Lee Park (60 Ida Lee Dr NW) in Leesburg, VA. After the Easter Bunny has hidden his 15,000 special eggs (loaded with candy and other goodies), the kids will be able to go searching for these treasures from noon to 4pm. The Easter egg hunt will be held at different
times with different age groups. The groups will be broken down as follows:
1-year-olds - 1 parent allowed to assist one child
2-year-olds - 1 parent allowed to assist one child
3-year-olds
4-year-olds
5-year-olds
6 and 7-year-olds
Each age group will be eligible for a Grand Prize egg, which includes a basket full of prizes, toys and, of course, candy. But, the egg hunt isn't only fun for the Leesburg egg hunters. There will be a jumbo slide, rock climbing walls, face painting, obstacle courses and much more to enjoy. You can bring your own food and have a picnic in the park or purchase something on-site from one of the Leesburg food vendors. And make sure to bring your camera to take advantage of photo-ops with the Easter Bunny himself.
Tickets are just $12 per child if done in advance (which is highly recommended) or $15 at the gate. Parents and kids over the age of 7 are allowed in for free. Admission includes participation in the egg hunt (for kids age 7 and younger) and unlimited access to all the attractions. Food is extra and payable directly to the vendors. You can purchase your tickets online at the or at the park's recreation center.
Hop on down to the Ida Lee Park on Saturday, April 9th for the 19th Annual Leesburg Easter Egg Hunt. You won't want to miss out on all the fun!
