Washington DC Fringe Festival

The annual Fringe Festival takes place July 12-29, 2012. This yearly event celebrates creative, cutting-edge artists in the performing arts. Sponsored by Capital Fringe, a local non-profit organization, the DC Fringe Festival takes place at several venues throughout the city.

Artists from all walks of life will be performing: dancers, puppet masters, actors, poets and visual artists, among other genres. With more than 800 shows being performed throughout the 18 day festival, there is something to stimulate just about anyone's mind. The main Fort Fringe Box Office is located at 607 New York Ave NW in Washington DC. Everyone over the age of 12 must have an admission button in addition to their event ticket or else they will not be allowed entrance. Admission buttons are just $5 each when purchased in advance or $7 beginning July 12th. Single tickets can be purchased for $17. However, multi-show passes are available as an All Access Pass, Magic Pass (20 performance tickets), 110 Proof Pass (10 performance tickets), 6 Pack Pass (6 performance tickets) or Foh-ty Pass (4 performance tickets). These tickets can be used in any combination you wish: several friends at one show, a couple friends at a few shows or just you to several shows. You decide.
