Gaslamp District in San Diego

Have you ever been to the Gaslamp District in San Diego?  If you are a visitor or local resident, this is a must do experience for anyone in the area.  The district is eight blocks long (from Broadway to Harbor Drive) and two blocks wide (from Fourth to Sixth Avenues).  Parking is available in nearby parking lots and garages as well as metered street parking spots, which are free on Sundays.  The Gaslamp District is across the street from Horton Plaza, the San Diego Convention Center, Petco Park and San Diego's core business district.  Gaslamp is also a short walk from many Downtown hotels.

Dining and entertainment are what make this area what it is.  Some of the more popular places to eat are...

   1. Brian's 24 Restaurant Bar and Grill
   2. Confidential Restaurant and Loft
   3. Croce's Restaurant & Jazz Bar
   4. Deco's
   5. Donovan's
   6. Hard Rock Café
   7. Jimmy Love's
   8. T.G.I. Fridays
   9. The Broken Yolk Café
  10. The Fleetwood

If you are in the mood for bar or nightlife, try the following places...

   1. 207 at Hardrock Hotel
   2. Altitude Sky Lounge
   3. Analog
   4. Bar Vie
   5. Bare Back Grill
   6. Dicks Last Resort
   7. Dublin Square Irish Pub & Grill
   8. Gaslamp Strip Club (steaks)
   9. Ivy Rooftop
  10. Stingaree Restaurant & Nightclub

The Gaslamp District is just one reason why the Downtown San Diego Condo's are in high demand and are making a comeback.   I'm currently working with several buyers interested in the Downtown San Diego condo's that are either close to Little Italy, Petco Park, or the Gaslamp District.  In fact whenever we go Downtown to look for property we usually park in Little Italy and walk to Petco and back.  It's one of the best cities to walk around in all year long.

You will never run out of things to do or places to go when are in Downtown San Diego!
