San Diego, America's Finest City

It’s a place to live…it’s a place to vacation…and it’s a place to retire.  San Diego has it all.  If you love the beach, the ocean, parks, being active, sports teams, theatres, concerts, museums, surfing, swimming, diving, hiking, biking or simply taking in the southern California sun, San Diego is certainly America’s Finest City.

On any given day, whether its spring, summer, winter or fall, you’ll find people out enjoying the San Diego surf.  For many locals, it’s basically a way of life.  It’s a daily routine for them just like running the many trails in San Diego is for some people.

From the theatre to sporting events, San Diego is filled to capacity with so many diverse things to do.  Consider going downtown to the Gaslamp Quarter where you will find hundreds of restaurants and cafés to choose from, and most with outside dining.  Venture into this popular scene any day of the week and you will see many people walking about and enjoying the restaurants and the atmosphere of one of San Diego’s most popular hot spots.

If sports are your thing, look no further.  The San Diego Padres Baseball team is right in our own backyard.  They have their very own newly built Petco Park in downtown San Diego.  If you’re a football fan, then you’ll find all the action and tailgate parties right in the parking lot of Qualcomm Stadium before each and every San Diego Chargers home game.

So you like the beach?  San Diego is known for its many beautiful beaches like Mission Bay, Fiesta Island and Shelter Island.  You’ll never lack for a place in the sun to swim, surf, snorkel, sail, or simply relax on the sand.

Why not try a “staycation” and holiday in your very own city?  San Diego has a variety of hotels from casual to the world famous Hotel Del Coronado. When was the last time you actually went to the ever-popular San Diego Zoo or road your bike around Mission Bay?  Can you remember when you visited Balboa Park and all of their 15 Museums?  Experience a Segway and rent one for two hours and tour the park that way!  Have you ridden in a Pedi Cab and been taxied along the boardwalk on Harbor Drive?  Need I go on?

To get a real taste of old San Diego, don’t forget Old Town with its historical monuments and numerous restaurants to choose from.   It is always a fun spot to visit, walk around in and have a meal.  But if you’re are a hiker, a biker or a runner, there are trails all over the county.  From walking trails to hiking mountains, San Diego has a trail for any level of experience.

With La Jolla just to the north, and Tijuana just south of the city, San Diego has it’s own unique life style, night life, activities, beaches, museums, restaurants, sports and so many other activities to choose from.

San Diego, America’s Finest City…It’s always “People Friendly.”  So whether it’s your home or a place to visit on vacation, or you are looking for real estate in San Diego, you’ll never forget the time spent in our fine city.
