XMAS Trees in San Diego - Where do you go?

Have you ever thought about how it was years ago when people actually cut down their own Christmas trees?  Well, you can still be a part of this tradition at a Christmas Tree Farm in and around San Diego.So whether you prefer an already cut tree or wish to cut one down yourself, here are a few suggestions for getting that special Christmas tree this holiday season.

For instance, Highland Valley Christmas Tree Farm is a place where you can wander through their groves and choose and cut any tree you’d like to take home.  For $8.00/per foot, you get free cutting, shaking and netting.  Your kids will love this experience!  They are open Thursdays/Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays/Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You’ll find this Christmas farm located at 18425 Highland Valley Road in the city of Ramona.

Another Christmas Tree Farm is theFamily Christmas Tree Farm located at 300 Pepper Drive in El Cajon .  Here you can also choose and cut your very own Monterey Pine from over 10 acres of Christmas trees!  Fresh cut trees are also available should you want to choose a Douglas Fir, Noble Fir or Grand Fir.  The choice is limitless.

There are so many other Christmas tree lots around San Diego where you can pick out your special tree for your family.  For instance, PB Christmas Trees is a family-owned and operated business with locations in Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Downtown and San Marcos.  They are dedicated to providing the finest quality by traveling to Oregon’s mountains each year and personally selecting the perfect trees for San Diegans.   Each location is open Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Saturdays and Sundays they open at 9:00 a.m. and stay open until 9:00 p.m.  At PB Christmas Trees, you’ll be able to find your favorite Noble, Douglas or Grand Firs in all shapes and sizes – to fit your family needs.

Other popular sites around San Diego county are the Pinery Christmas Tree Lots with locationsin Bonita, Escondido, Del Mar, Mission Valley, Rancho Bernardo and Southwestern College in Chula Vista.  Their fresh cut trees are Noble Fir, Douglas Fir and Grand Firs with their Potted Living Christmas Trees being Rosemary, Monterey and Aleppo Pines.
