San Carlos
Have you heard the saying that “Location” is the most important part of buying a home? Well, it's true!. You want to feel good about driving in and out of your neighborhood, knowing you are located close to good schools, shopping centers, movie theatres, restaurants, the arts and most important, good neighbors. This is one of many reasons why the San Carlos homes are in high demand.
Well, San Carlos is just that community. It’s an older-established beautifully maintained neighborhood that seems to be the perfect place to live in all of San Diego County. It’s in the center of everything and only takes 15-20 minutes to get “anywhere” – such as the beach, La Jolla, downtown, South Bay, Mission Valley, East County, the mountains and anywhere else.
Situated right in the middle of San Carlos is the ever-popular Cowles Mountain and on any given day, hundreds of hikers take the uphill 1.5 mile climb to the top of the peak. It’s so popular that not only will you find spring and summer hikers, but you will also find those die-hard enthusiasts who love to hike year round – even in the winter, the rain and at night!
San Carlos has a variety of restaurants to choose from – all close by. From Mexican, Seafood, Italian, BBQ to American Cuisine, you’ll find something to please the fussiest taste buds. In fact, the Trails Eatery in San Carlos was recently featured on the hit T.V. Show “Restaurant Impossible” where a team comes out to rescue a failing restaurant and remodels the entire restaurant on a low-budget. They even put together a new menu. Even since then, the Trails Eatery’s business has been booming!!
In a neighborhood such as San Carlos, you will feel safe at all times. Neighbors looking out for neighbors is such an ideal way to live. This is why residents of San Carlos are totally satisfied with their little piece of heaven right in the heart of San Diego County.
