When scheduling a showing, always ask them to call 30 minutes prior

When scheduling a showing, always ask them to call 30 minutes prior and confirm. I started telling outright that I am not coming unless I hear from them. Even one no-show will waste at least 1 hour of your life.

  1. Definitely a great idea. I have started doing this and saves a lot of time and frustration.

  2. This idea is wonderful. Minimal efforts are wasted as a result.

  3. george...great idea...i use this strategy as well

  4. You call them, I ask them to call me. This way they pre-screen themselves (less time spent on my part)

  5. This is a great idea. I ALWAYS call them before leaving for the meeting and still get about 5% no shows. I don't think you can avoid it completely.

  6. Simple, but brilliant idea to save a lot of time and frustration. Also lets you know if the prospective tenant is able to follow a simple direction.
