Less home sales than expected in April

There were fewer Ogden Utah homes for sale sold in May compared with the year ago, and median price continues to be at the bottom for 10 consecutive months in year-over-year levels, according to the latest MLS data released.



Real estate in Ogden Utah market posted 76 sales of houses and condominiums last month, up 10.53 percent from March and down 28.30 percent from the same month the year ago, the median price paid for a home last month was $97,000, fell 22.40 percent from $125,000 in the same month the year ago, and up 3.61 percent from $93,500 in April.

 

 

There were 760 active Ogden Utah homes for sale recorded in the last 30 days, down from the year ago by 5.35 percent with 803. Sold homes last month spent almost 3 months before its new owners found and purchased them, 144 days less than from 55 in March, and 18 days more than from 71 in the same month last year.
