Boise Downtown Condos - Crescent Rim Project

We've looked at the Imperial Plaza, the Jefferson, the Gem-Noble.  Now, lets look at the Crescent Rim condo project.  This is one of the most interesting and probably the largest.

The Crescent Rim project sits on Crescent Rim Drive at the site of the old bakery.  Very expensive land and expensive project.  The number of units got reduced to accomodate neighbor concerns that traffic and size would disrupt and diminish the rest of the neighborhood.

Combine the downsizing with the economy and the real estate bubble bursting you have a project sitting half completed with no sales.  It could be awesome but condo projects in general got overbuilt for the demand and Crescent Rim sits waiting to relaunch at some point.

You hear rumors that it will start up but nothing appears to be going on.  It isn't right downtown but sits above the city on the bench looking north toward downtown and up to the Boise Front.  Units should have spectacular views but may be further away than you would like.

There isn't much to see right now.  I'll talk more about other Boise Downtown Condos.
