Merry Christmas!
Today seemed to be the appropriate day to do a little reflecting and to share a lot of appreciation. Tomorrow will be the beginning of a massive travel weekend and I hope everyone that I want to read this has the chance to do so before heading home for the holidays.
Although we all know the roots and the true meaning of Christmas as we celebrate the miracle in Bethlehem, Christmas in our family has also always been a celebration of life and love. I find myself feeling very nostalgic during the holiday season.
I want to take a few lines here to thank the wonderful people that surround me and create my blessed life.
First and always, there are Stephanie my amazing wife and my three incredible children Jake, Janelle and Jenessa. I get up every morning to a home full of smiles and love and active, happy children. My family is the most important element in my life. I'm also truly blessed with parents that gave me the best foundation a child could have and a sister that I adore. What else could a man ask for?
To my team of hugely talented experts and the incredible support staff at the Martel Group of Companies, you know that I appreciate you, love you and value your contributions and dedication.
And to my students and clients, thank you so much for entrusting me with your hopes and dreams. Together we have built a legacy of success.
I already have all the gifts I could need or want. As Frank Sinatra said, "I would like to be remembered as a man that had a wonderful time living life, a man who had good friends and a fine family, and I don't think I could ask for anything more than that".
Merry Christmas all!
