Rent or buy? Advice from U.S. experts.

Hey team, the 'expert advice' south of the border continues to encourage Americans to rent rather than buy.

Of course, that means someone needs to purchase the property and become the landlord.

With housing prices at all time lows, creating cash flow from owning U.S. properties in prime markets and prime locations is a clear winner for Canadians.

Just this morning, another influential U.S. investment publication,  is telling Americans that "Our analysis suggests that, from a purely economic standpoint, renting is a more attractive option for a growing number of households in most markets in the near term" and that "rising interest rates along with stricter lending standards and higher down payment requirements may further discourage buying".

This analysis is based on a lengthy research study by the National Real Estate Investor which documents the reasons that Americans should be renting rather than buying.

America has become a nation of renters.

The question is, shouldn't they be renting from you?

If you are considering purchasing a property in the U.S. for any reason, you might want to check out one of our free Introduction To U.S. Real Estate workshops.  It's a great way to learn the foundation.

On fire!
