Here I go!

So I told my wife that I am going to make RE Investing the path to our freedom!  She then had the audacity to ask me how.  My answer of course was "ummmmmmmmm..." with a dramatic pause.  "By finding properties, getting them under contract, and then selling the contract."  She then asks how I plan on doing that... the nerve of some people.  I told her I'd get back to her.  So now I am going over all of the info I've acquired to answer that last question and any others she might come up with.  That's what led me back here.  I know I've been a member since April 2011, but logged in all of 1 or 2 times since then.  I have been stuck in the mode of "Analysis Paralysis" and using the idea of "I'm doing research" as my excuse for not really doing anything.  I want RE Investing to be my business, and I am here to tell you (whoever you are) that I am making Real Estate Investing my business!  My goal today is to get a phone and fax line for my new business and have business cards made.  I will start the process of finding where the owners of the 3 properties I have been looking at are and have a presentation ready for them on how I can help them out of their situation if they are interested.

So there you go.  I am now an investor.  Wish me well.  Talk to you soon.

Scott

  1. Good luck Scott.

  2. Scott, I wish you luck and success in this great business. I suggest calling some of the local real estate investors from here and seeing how you can help them. You can get an on the job education that will make the transition to full-time investor all the more powerful.
