Back in the saddle

I'm a real estate investor again!  It's not a new thing, but it's been on hold for a while.
I started my first real estate company, MRMC, in '04 and it did well for a few years, but I had a partner.  After a quick burst of growth and just as things were really picking up, he had to get out.
I helped him sell his share of the company to nice people who, ultimately, weren't willing to commit the time and attention needed for it's continued growth.  MRMC stagnated to an sleepy, but slightly profitable holding pattern.  I'm hopeful I can buy the atrophied shares and revive the thing, but, either way, I'm back in the game.
My several-year project, the WIRED Report, is now launched, so my sabbatical is over or, at least, the amount of time I'll be committing to it will be greatly diminshed. It began as an analytic tool to help MRMC find, rehab and flip houses, so, with the public version of that nifty tool out the door, I'll be shifting some attention back to the original focus.  It was developed to find diamonds in the rough, so I'll see if I can scrounge up few.
This blog will chronicle the effort.
