Jobs avaialbe for Investors
While we all strive to eventually being full time investors, I think the knowledge, capital, and experience to do so successfully is essential. I am a young investor who began investing a year and a half ago. I purchased a few homes and condos for relatively low prices and have leased them out. I have created a nice cash flow, however definitely not enough to call myself a full time investor. The knowledge I used to attain these properties where based on common sense and things Iv picked up reading, having never worked in any form of real estate position in the past. I want to continue investing and leasing and generating more monthly income, however I beleive that in order to continue growing, commercial buildings, and multi home properties, I need some more experience. I am reaching out to you asking what kind of jobs can give me the extra experience and knowledge while making a paycheck, to take my personal matters to the next level of investing? Thanks for your thoughts in advance.

Of those inside jobs listed you have to go where your abilities and education lead you. The next question is can you earn enough to invest some of your income and be able to qualify for financing. Having an outside (of RE) with solid checks is very helpful too. Doing what you are doing will give you great experience if you manage your own properties.

another one I would add to jason's point is become a member of the condo association where you own properties and that will give you an idea of issues and things that can come up in big complexes.

This is a really good question and I'd be curious to see what people say. My guess would be jobs like: * Property manager for an apartment block (lots of experience dealing with tenants in this job, I'm sure, including background checks, collections, etc.) * Loan officer for a bank or mortgage company (you can get to know the ins-and-outs of lending * Handyman (can get experience doing fix-ups and troubleshooting of problems in your properties when they eventually arise) * Realtor (self-explanatory) Have you posted this question on the forums? It seems like the blogs don't get as much traffic as the forums do
