Where to Celebrate July 4th...Coral Springs Style
Beginning at 6pm, the public is welcome to enjoy some fun before the fireworks finale. There will be plenty of activities to occupy your time as well as some great food and other refreshments available for purchase. The fireworks extravaganza will begin right at 9pm. You may want to bring some chairs and/or a blanket to enjoy the display in comfort. While admission to the event is absolutely free of charge, there is a $3 fee to park your vehicle at either the park itself, Coral Springs Gymnasium or the nearby Coral Springs Center for the Arts.
Since the City of Coral Springs will be providing a fireworks show, there really is no need to bring your own from home (which is good, because they are prohibited in the park). Anyone caught with their own fireworks at Mullins Park on July 4th will not only have them confiscated, but could also face criminal sanctions as well. Also, please leave your pets and alcoholic beverages at home. Animals can get very skittish around crowds of people as well as the loud booming noises of the fireworks display.
Bring the family down for an evening of food, fun and, of course, FIREWORKS at Mullins Park. You can have a great time in a safe and sane way. This is where we celebrate July 4th...Coral Springs style.
