No matter if the naturescape landscape is at your home, business, school or government building. If you had a hand in it, you can enter into the contest.

Naturescape landscapes are created to conserve water by reducing the areas of lawns that use so much water. Using native Florida-friendly plants is the best use of naturescapes to provide food, water and shelter from wildlife. To qualify, yards must be a Florida-friendly recognized landscape through the Neighborhoods program and Florida Yards, and the yard must be certified as a Wildlife Habitat with the National Wildlife Federation.

Winners will have their naturescaped yards showcased at an awards ceremony on March 8, 2014. You can apply at www.broward.or/naturescape.
