Parkland is a Golfer's Paradise!
Living in Parkland is fantastic,
especially if you love to golf. In fact, there are 1481 golf courses throughout
Florida to choose from, both pubilc and private. Parkland
is a golfer's paradise, with almost a dozen courses located within a five mile
radius of downtown alone. One of the best golf courses in the area, as
well as the state, is the Parkland Golf and
Country Club.
At the Parkland Golf and Country Club, members
can relax in a luxurious, family-friendly setting. The par 72, 7118
yard course was designed by none other than Greg "The Shark" Norman,
one of the premiere golf course designers in the world as well as a professional
golfer in his own right. Greg and his team worked with the natural landscape to
create the perfect atmosphere for quality golf.
There is more
to the Parkland Golf and Country Club than golf, however. Har-Tru
tennis courts help athletes of all levels improve their game.
Fitness studios keep active bodies healthy with individual
training or a variety of classes. Two swimming pools offer
aquatic exercise. And the private on-site spa lets you unwind
after a hard day at work or a long day on the links. Lunch or dinner dining can
be enjoyed at Sorrento, the Club's main dining room. The
beach-themed outdoor barbecue near the pool makes daytime guests of all
ages feel right at home, while the adults can unwind at the end of the day with
a cocktail inside the Club's featured lounge area.
The
surrounding 790 acres of gated Parkland
community offer its residents a secluded atmosphere located just a short way
from the beaches and other attractions in the area. There is a reason
this is called the "relaxed city". Parkland is not only a golfer's
paradise, but an oasis for anybody who wants to get away from the
hustle and bustle in a quiet, peaceful, absolutely stunning setting.
