Thoughts After Returning from Europe

I just returned from a trip to London where I presented to a company there. It was interesting to speak to British businessmen - I was really struck by just how similar we are to our European counterparts - we all want to make a difference, thrive, and leave our mark on the world. We have to make a living, but what else can we do to make the world a better place? I say where ever you are, start there... We have opportunities every day to love, live, engage in meaningful conversation, and be fully present for those we interact with. I felt so welcome, and really enjoyed the chance to connect with a group that was striving to do just that, and when I speak in the U.S, I find people striving to live to their full potential. Unlike the Greeks, the Irish are putting their heads down and doing their best to create, innovate and navigate this new economy. Ireland, that little island in the middle of the Atlantic is full of resilient people who have historically faced challenges head-on. I am proud to be Irish...
