The New Beer Hub in Riverside/Avondale

Another older post but definitely still in action but even more places have opened I'll do some articles on the new ones in the future.

The area around King and Park street in Riverside has lately become a magnet for those who love beer. Kickbacks  on king street is open something like 21 hours a day 7 days a week, and has 85 beers on tap and even more in bottles. It lives up to the gastropub name with excellent food prepared in-house. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only downside to this place is that they a consistently packed pretty much every night of the week. They are working on that problem and should be doubling or tripling the size of the restaurant over the next year or two.

Another great restaurant is the European Street Cafe on Park street with about 200 or more bottled beers. They also have an interesting selection of candy and home-made deserts. The best part however is the monster sandwiches that they serve.  See above.

There are also two breweries open in this district now. Bold City is located on Rosselle Street and the Tap Room is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Intuition Ale works is located on King St and is open Wednesday – Saturday.

So get out there and have a couple of cold ones and remember no drinking and driving. Why would you anyways? This is Riverside get out there and go for a stroll. All these places are within easy walking distance of each other. So sample a little of each!
