financial update

Some readers of my blog have been asking about the re-financing on this property. I haven't done a cash-out refi yet. This is for a couple reasons. First, I haven't found another property that I want to buy. Second, I have some investor friends that I have been in dicsussion with that have cash. I have invested with them in the past and they make excellet partners.Therefor I won't need to cash out refi yet. I will use their cash to purchase additional properties. I did look at several duplexes over the weekend.  I'm waiting to hear back from my realtor about details on the properties. I may be able to scoop up 3 duplexes and a SFH all in one swoop. However there are two banks involved, which complicates things significantly.  This will probably be a long shot.

  1. Yes, these are friends but mostly business partners that I have dealth with in the past. We are using a multi-member LLC.

  2. How are you setting up your partnerships with your friends? What structure are you using?
