Incentives for owners of old homes to rehabilitate their properties

If you are an real estate investor who owns a couple of historical properties, the federal government wants to give you tax incentives to do substantial rehabilitationto the property. The catch is that the property must be listed in or eligible for the National/Georgia Register of Historic Places. Your property can either be listed as an individual property or as part of a National /Georgia Register Historic District.
