Tallest Condo in Downtown Hollywood, FL Approved

Nearby residents and business owners were excited to hear that plans to construct a 25-story condo and retail building in downtown Hollywood, Florida had been approved.

A zoning change had to be approved before construction of the Hollywood Circle building could begin, as its 25-stories would make it rise above all other nearby buildings.

The Hollywood Circle will include 424 condo units as well as an eight-story parking garage. Approximately 46,000 square feet will be set aside for a supermarket. The entire project comes with an estimated price tag of about $100 million.

Developers plan to concentrate their construction only on the retail aspect of the building, then wait for the real estate market to improve before moving on to constructing the residential condo units.
