Goal Setting (not just big goals)

I will be honest here, sometimes I have a lot of trouble staying motivated when getting to the latter part of the week or even day. Sales have slowed even though your effort has not, there is a couple ways that you can react.

You can question the process that you or your company is taking although it has be proven over a course of time. Or the second option which I tend to go to is I set goals for the day. Whether it is contacting leads or setting a goal of how many people to contact, this can keep everything lively and not have the day drag on. It is easy when the larger goal is right in front of you to stay motivated but when far away from the large goals, the other smaller goals must take precedent.

You can start by dissecting your day, knowing what works and experimenting with new ways to get your job done. Make sure that you know that you have the freedom to experiment and it does not cost you your job. Results tend to calm the storm of a boss so keep that in mind also.

Small goals will help you win everyday and if this happens, then you win a week, month, year, and beyond. Set them and reach them.
