New to Boston
Hello Everybody! Just moved to Boston from Detroit for my wifes "never-ending" medical career! I was building a nice real estate of buy and hold properties in metro Detroit and am now managing them "long distance" (not easy!).
I am attempting to do some wholesaling while I am out here and looking for any help and advice from local members while getting started! The market is flaming hot in Boston compared to what I am used to, but I could definitely use some advice while marketing for potential leads. Where, what, who....anything. Thanks to all!

Hey Andrew Holman welcome to BiggerPockets! Are you going to hire a property manager or try to do it 100% on your own? I've considered moving somewhere else and handing my property over or trying to manage long distance - but I just can't pull the trigger! Also - here are a few of my favorite articles on wholesaling: http://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2013/02/13/find-buyer-wholesale - 9 Reasons You Couldn’t Find A Buyer For Your Wholesale Deal http://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2013/01/26/wholesale-advice-fix-flipper Don’t Start Wholesaling Until You Read This: Wholesale Advice from a Fix and Flipper http://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2013/01/25/how-to-start-wholesaling-getting-past-the-education-and-into-the-field - How to Start Wholesaling: Getting Past The Education and Into the Field Also - you may want to consider also leaving a New Member Introduction (http://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/55-new-member-introductions) in addition to this blog, to get more eyes on it. Just a thought! Welcome to the community! Oh - also be sure to set up some (http://www.biggerpockets.com/alerts) Keyword Alerts for some of the topics you are knowledgeable about, or other topics that interest you (like wholesale, Boston, landlord, etc ) so you'll be notified that those words were mentioned in the forums and can jump into those conversations! It's also an awesome way to meet new people from your area when they introduce themselves to this forum. Seeya around the site!
