Buying Mode

 I've been investing in real estate for 5 years and on the slooow path. My buying goes in cycles as I also work full time, have a family and other properties and hobbies to attend to.

Last summer at this same time we bought 2 properties, it was terrible!! What wasn't terrible is that our income almost doubled and they are two really awesome properties. What was terrible was that we lost our summer working on houses and/or managing handy men who were working on them.

Strangely enough, 1 year later its time to buy again and this time I think 3 properties is a good idea ;) The cash flow is just so enticing! It drives me to make my life outrageously crazy for months at a time. I obviously haven't really learned my lesson because we are in the same situation of doing some of the work ourselves and managing someone to do the other work. It's a bad plan but I'm not ready to fix it this time around because it does still work.

I'm almost to my first goal in real estate, which is to bring in more passive income than my full time job. It's a little depressing but I keep in mind that my job allows me to get mortgages...and mortgages equal cash flow and cash flow equals FREEDOM.
