Shootings in Milwaukee

I was talking with someone yesterday about the death of Laylah Peterson, a 5 year old who was killed inside her grandparents' home by a stray bullet.

The neighborhood is described as a stable, working class area.  (the 5000 block of North 58th Street in Milwaukee).

Here are 2 stories that about it.

The person I was speaking with grew up near the area, but said his dad moved his family out when his dad found a bullet near his car (in the 90s).

There is too much gun violence in parts of our city and it is heartbreaking.  I hope the thug who shot and killed this little girl is found and arrested.
