Early Voting in Lake Havasu City Ends Friday
Early voting in Lake Havasu City is set to end Friday, August 20, 2010. Early voting for the upcoming primary election started on July 29 at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center where all local residents can easily and conveniently vote.
Mohave County also sent out 10,600 mail-in ballots, but not even half have been returned. The deadline for mail-in ballots is Tuesday, August 24 at 7:00pm. Any mail-in ballots after the deadline will not be counted.
You can still make it to the early voting sessions at 100 Park Avenue from 8:00am to 5:00pm. You must present a valid identification. So, if you're interested in what may happen in your community, get out and vote.
Voters will be determining which candidates will move on to the general election on November 2. The people you elect can help determine just how money will be spent in your city. This could be your chance to help improve upon unemployment, local real estate and more. With the increase of new voters, it's more important than ever to get your vote in, too. There are currently 36,000 new voters since May 2010 across the state of Arizona. Lake Havasu City has had a 2.8% increase of voter registration since the May election.
